If you have a current subscription for Quicken Deluxe, Premier, or Home & Business, you can upgrade to Quicken 2020 at no additional cost. You can purchase Quicken 2020 from the Intuit website or from other retailers. Intuit recommends that you upgrade to the latest version of Quicken, which is Quicken 2020. Quicken 2017 is a discontinued product and is no longer supported by Intuit. If you purchase it on December 1, 2017, it will only be supported until December 1, 2020. So, if you purchase Quicken 2017 on September 1, 2017, it will be supported until September 1, 2020.
Intuit typically supports their software products for 3 years after the initial release date. Quicken 2017 is good for as long as it is supported by Intuit.
